ROOM THREE – Why are we still wanging-on about wellbeing? Claire Warner, Founder and Director, Lift workplace wellbeing consultancy
When I first started “wanging-on” about wellbeing (fundraiser wellbeing is where it all started!!) I’m not sure any of us had ever heard of Covid-19, furlough, lockdown or any of the other serious wellbeing-impacting occurrences that took over our lives in 2020 and 2021. And yet, all of the things that we know were impacting wellbeing before 2020 are still happening. We’ve just discovered a new layer of “stuff”. In this session we will look at the causes of good and not-so-good wellbeing, we will look at why they appear and where we do and don’t help ourselves, and we will look at how we can maximise the good parts and minimise the not-so-good parts (or make them feel better).

SPONSOR HUB

It’s said that, to understand your future, you have to understand your past.

At the heart of that truth, in the world you and we share, is data.

Great data.

Great data managed with a care and precision that recognises it for what it is: your most valuable resource.

Great data that empowers you to fulfil your missions by nurturing lifetime relationships with supporters.

That’s why we do what we do, and have done since our first day in the sector, nigh-on 35 years ago. It’s in our DNA.

At PSR, we work hard to provide an ethical service that is different from other recruitment agencies. PSR is about working in partnership with our charity clients and candidates, seeking out the very best talent so charities can generate more income and continue to make a difference in the world – which in turn makes us happy! We will always challenge barriers to fair recruitment and love that so many charities and fundraisers work with us to help make this happen.

Making a Difference Locally (MADL) is a charity launched to help independently run local stores to add value to their communities #MakingADifferenceLocally.

The charity helps the stores achieve this by allowing them to nominate charities or good causes that are local to them to receive a specific donation from us. Donations may be to local sports teams, hospices or one of the many charities operating in the UK.

Need to know more? Read our About MADL section, read the success stories or get in touch if you have any questions about Making a Difference Locally, we would love to answer them for you.

At Giftease Solutions, we pride ourselves on our senior team’s extensive 50-year experience in the charity sector. We excel in data-driven fundraising, advocacy, and awareness, with our core product being unparalleled support for charities in their Gift Aid Schemes.
