Talk one – Reflecting and looking forward together

Stroke Group Voices

David spoke about his involvement in Stroke Group Voices, a small group of volunteers from across the UK.

We believe the voice, experience and knowledge of volunteers must inform and influence the development of our work with support groups and the network.

The group meets monthly and aspires to include representatives from across all 10 localities.

The majority of participants are stroke survivors, but also include volunteers who have been affected by stroke and other professionals, bringing their own unique experience.

Watch this video from David, our member in Scotland, explaining what the group does and his hopes for it.

The group meet monthly to discuss and respond to current challenges and opportunities, making the most difference for people affected by stroke.

To find out more about Stroke Group Voices email Group Networks [email protected] or visit Stroke Association intranet.

If you have any problems getting onto the intranet contact [email protected].
