COVID restrictions lifting: 3 tips to help you navigate this period
With the announcement that work from home requirements are no longer, mandatory mask-wearing and COVID certification end Thursday 27th, and from March self-isolation a thing of the past – things are certainly shifting.
Whilst these moves mean that uncertainty around physical events may be reduced with less risk of cancellation etc., what does it mean for those who are still cautious or vulnerable?
There will be many mixed emotions currently amongst your donor, supporter & customer bases. Some will be anxious & concerned, and some relieved. It’s ok for us to be feeling different things.
But we must remember to consider all these experiences as we plan our work going forward.
Here are our top 3 tips to help you navigate this period:
1. Kindness and understanding – of ourselves, our colleagues, our audiences.
2. Keep things flexible. Many won’t feel ready for large groups interaction, socially or professionally. Ensure people can participate in the way that feels right for them.
3. Trust your gut. If something is making you feel uncomfortable it’s ok to rethink or back off.
